The winning school is Arakan High School- Congratulations!!! To celebrate International Civil Aviation Day on 07 December Proflight Zambia launched a competition for Lusaka Government schools. The winning school would be the school with the most competition entries and this was Arakan High School! The prize for the competition is a day of aviation education.... The winning school will be visited on 25 January by a group of Proflight employees from different professions. There will be pilots, cabin crew, aircraft engineers, marketing reps, reservations consultants and more. The educational day will teach the students of the winning school about the different aspects of the aviation industry and answer questions such as 'How do you become a pilot when you grow up?' and 'why would you want to be a cabin attendant?' and 'what subjects do you need to excel in to be an aircraft engineer?' There will also be a live draw during the educational day and the 3 winners will win a flight for them and a loved one over Lusaka city and the beautiful Lake Kariba. The three 'runners up' were Kabulonga Girls School, Liteta and Kapwelyomba.
